Bill Maher (born January 20, 1956) is an American stand-up comedian, political commentator, writer, author and actor, best-known for his hosting duties on Comedy Central and ABC's Politically Incorrect and currently in charge of the weekly hour-long late-night show Real Time with Bill Maher on HBO.
